COMPLETED JELLYFISH, AUSTRALIA, 2023.
Since 2016, stained glass has been the planet by which Hannah gregory wakes and sleeps. Gregory has trained, worked, studied and travelled extensively in The United Kingdom, Europe, Australia and the United States of America to acquire a comprehensive and contrasting repertoire of both medieval and innovative, new skills and techniques to working with Stained Glass. Gregory has been awarded grants from the Australia Council of the Arts, The International Specialised Skills Institute, The Western Australian DLGSC and The American Glass Guild and has attended residencies in Wales, Austria, Australia and The United States of America.
Gregory is a passionate advocate for a more diverse, inclusive and engaging future for stained glass. She is also determined to undermine the out-dated expectations and connotations of her beloved craft. Currently living with her husband in the small fishing town of Cervantes, Western Australia, on unceded Yued Land, Gregory enjoys working on both architectural commissions and experimental autonomous works. Her work can be found in architecture and private collections across the world.
